ECCHA Welcomes New Board Members

ECCHA Welcomes New Board Members

Eau Claire County Humane Association (ECCHA) is pleased to introduce the newest board members to our organization. These individuals bring a diverse background but have a shared passion for animal welfare.

Christina Thrun – Christina started her board term in 2024, though she has served 2 terms in the past, even as our president at one point! She is a huge dog lover and is excited to continue to support ECCHA as a board member again.

April Lande – April joined the ECCHA board in 2024. She has been practicing law in Eau Claire since 2018 and is an avid animal lover!

“We are thrilled to welcome these talented individuals to our board,” said Shelley Janke, Executive Director at ECCHA. “Their diverse skills and dedication to animal welfare will strengthen our ability to serve he homeless pets of the Eau Claire Community and make a positive impact on the lives of animals in need.”

Of course, with the joining of new members also comes the leaving of others. We want to thank Emily Nyquist, who served as our secretary the past several years, and Pamela Veith, who was our Board President for many years as well. Thank you to your service and dedication to ECCHA!
