Better in Show – Take 7
February 19, 2010 (4:00 pm - 9:00 pm)
Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center
- Competition categories for dogs, cats, and other furry friends, including: Best Dog Trick, Cat Crowd Pleaser, and a category for other domestic pets
- Silent Auction with a variety of items, ranging in value
- Chances to win door prizes through out the evening
- Flyball by the Chippewa Valley Wuff Pack
- Obedience and Agility demonstrations by emBark
- Animal-related vendor displays and information about other area humane societies and rescue groups will be available to browse over
- Concessions will be available all evening
- Pet Relaxation Areas and the Rescued Pets Parade
- Your pets are welcome – even if they aren’t competing! Pets must be leashed, harnessed, or in a carrier, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Owners will be required to sign a waiver form at the door.
- 50/50 cash raffle for a chance at winning some moolah! Tickets are just $1. Winner will be drawn at 7:15pm.
- Back by popular demand: “Chapel of Love” – pets can speak their undying love to one another and say their vows under the wedding archway, set created by Wedding Decorating by Laura. He will wear a tux and she will wear a veil while photographer Corrine Hanson snaps a photo of their big day. Pets who were wed at last year’s event are welcome back to renew their vows!
$4 minimum donation, per person, at the door –
$20 maximum required per family
you will receive 1 raffle ticket for every $4 entry fee,
and 7 raffle tickets for every $20 family fee –
door prizes will be awarded through out the evening
